Can locks be repaired, or should they be replaced?
Many locks can be repaired; if not, they may need to be replaced. Question: "What is best the best option for me?". Answer: It all depends on the quality, age and c.ondition of the lock. If the lock is generally of a good quality and in otherwise good physical condition from a structural and aesthetic point of view, it may be more cost effective to repair the lock, rather than replace it. In that regard, we are happy to advise you of your best option so as to save you money.
What to do when keys are lost or stolen.
When keys are lost or stolen it is often more cost effective to re-key them so that the old keys no longer work at a much lower price than it would be to fit new locks; especially, when the house is on a single key system (ie: keyed alike).
